This is from an experience I had on platform that played on my mind…
When giving a message to a lady just last night, I gave enough evidence for this lady to recognise the communicating spirit as her Healing Teacher.
The Teacher came through to offer her pupil a new healing exercise to try with her friends. The Teacher then said this is my gift to you.
Towards the end of the message the lady (recipient) asked…
“Is there no message, not even for her Daughter”?
I then had to explain that this spirit lady, this Healing Teacher from her past purely came as a Teacher and not for herself or for her family.
Don’t think I didn’t try, I did! I went back to the lady in spirit and asked if there was anything else she would like to say or even a message for her family. The response I got was “I said what I came to say”.
I can understand why the lady recipient struggled with this message because all of the other messages I had given that evening were of a loving, spiritual and emotional level and this was something completely different. This was a lady in spirit who came through in what I can only describe as ‘School Mistress Mode’ and was not inclined for anything else, if anything I would say she was annoyed that what she said wasn’t enough, but I kept that part to myself.
After the Service, I went and spoke to the recipient and apologised for her Teacher in Spirit not giving more. Then the first thing this lady said was “That’s just what she was like”!
My take away from this is that our teachers from the past are still looking out for us and guiding us where and how they can but the biggest thing for me and my progression as a Professional Medium is to never apologise for a good communication because there are reasons for the way it’s given and a reason for the way it must be received. The lady’s comment “That’s just what she was like” tells me that if I had added any fluff it would not have fitted the spirit communicators personality.
Please, give as you get, be true to the spirit communicating and trust in what is given
